imagesCAKPC5OVThe Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corp from Rockford, IL took 5th place in the DCI World Championship finals in Indianapolis, IN. Our very own Collins Hill Band Director Mr. Bybee is the Brass Caption Head for the corp and it was under his instruction that help lead them to such high marks. We also had a handful of former Collins Hill High Band students marching this year with the corp.  Our children are lucky to have such experienced teachers such as Mr. Bybee and Mr. Treuman and the many others at Collins Hill High. We want to send a Collins Hill High Screaming Eagle congratulations to the Phantom Regiment.    
Marching Band Camp is upon us! Mandatory check-in day is Sunday July 24 at 3PM.  Each Marching Band and Guard student and at least one parent is required to attend.  Please click this link for more information. Student, what did you think about band camp, post your comments.

8th Annual Taste of Collins Hill

Chef2-150x150The 8th Annual Taste of Collins Hills will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the Commons Area. We will have a Silent Auction in the area outside the gym and performances by the Winter Guard in the gym. Collins Hill Band and Guard students will start selling tickets Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Tickets are $10.00 which allows you 10 tastes and includes one drink.
